Air cooled chillers
With the aim of covering cooling – heating needs in commercial and industrial applications Apollo Teck GmbH offers air cooled chillers and heating pumps with efficiency spanning from 13 to 680kW with cooling agent R410A and Scroll type compressor.
It also offers units of efficiency from 250 to 1650kW with cooling agent R134a and Screw type compressor.
All units are manufactured with materials of the highest quality standards, with great credibility and resilience against all weather conditions.
Machinery comes with a microprocessor which controls the unit and they are defined by the low noise pressure level.
General LCAEX characteristics
FRAME
Galvanized steel frame, which is protected through the use of powder polyester paint. The frame panels are easily removed for the process of maintenance work, while the unit is still on.
COMPRESSOR
Semi-hermetic screw type compressor with integrated thermal switch for motor protection and the following equipment: suction and discharge switching valve (optional), oil separator, heater crankcase oil level switch (optional), glass oil control box, a safety thermostat, the oil filter, a suction filter and a liquid injection device.
VAPORIZER
Shell and tube type, made of copper tube and steel shell, with two autonomous refrigerant circuits and a water circuit.
CONDENSER
Made of copper and aluminum tube.
FANS
Axial fans directly connected to a three-phase electric motor with an external rotor.
REFRIGERANT CIRCUITS
Each unit is equipped with two or more autonomous refrigerant circuits. Each circuit includes: filter dryer, glass port, solenoid valve, electronic thermostatic valve, liquid line stop valve, supply valve, HP / LP counters with stop valves. Chiller protection includes: low-pressure automatic switch, high-pressure manual reset switches, safety valve, antifreeze thermostat.
ELECTRICAL BOARD
The degree of protection of the electrical board is IP54. The electrical board also has a microprocessor for automatic control of the unit and is complemented by a display of the operating status, as well as a display of errors.

Hermetic Scroll type compressor with overload protection and glass oil checkbox. The compressors are installed on rubber mounts for vibration absorption and are also located indoors to reduce the sound level, so as to allow maintenance work while the unit is in operation.

Brass plate exchanger. It is recommended to install a differential pressure switch, which will shut down the unit if there is no water circulation in the plate exchanger.
CONDENSER
Made of copper and aluminum tube. Protective grid is available upon request.

REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT
Each unit is equipped with: filter dryer, glass door, thermostatic expansion valve, maintenance valve. The following equipment is available to protect the refrigerant circuit: manually reset the high pressure switch and the low-pressure automatic reset switch, thermostat antifreeze. Heat pump units (MCAEY … H) also have: safety thermostat in the compressor discharge line, 4-way valve, control valve, solenoid valve, liquid receiver.
ELECTRIC BOARD
The degree of protection of the electrical board is IP54.

Water cooled chillers
Besides air cooled systems, Apolloteck also offers water cooled refrigerants and heating pumps in 4 different lines.
MCWY NR line with R410A cooling agent and Scroll type compressor, which only works for cooling, with efficiency spanning 18-75 kW.
MCWY line with R410A cooling agent, which works for heating and cooling, with efficiency spanning 14-60 kW
SCWY line with R410A cooling agent, which works for heating and cooling, with efficiency spanning 50-500 kW
LCWX line with R410A cooling agent, which works for heating and cooling, with efficiency spanning from 200 to 1550 kW.

Shell and tube type, with one or two circuits of cooling agent and a water circuit. It is recommended to install a differential pressure switch or switch of flow, in case there is no water circulation within the plate exchanger.
CONDENSER
Depending on the model, there are one or two shell and tube type condensers.
Upon request, salt water condenser is available.
COOLING CIRCUIT
Each unit is supplied with one or two autonomous cooling circuits. Each circuit includes: filter dryer, cooling observation glass, electronic thermostatic expansion valve, liquid line valve, pause valve and evacuation valve. For the protection of the cooling circuit, the following equipment is included: high pressure reset switch, safety switch reset, low pressure automatic reset switch, safety valve and antifreeze thermostat.

The protection degree of the electric power board is IP44. The electric power board also includes a microprocessor for the automatic adjustment of unit operation and is complemented by a screen that depicts the operation status, as well as the alarms.
